About Dev Query Core
Why this desk exists
Retail lending in Thailand still turns on the quality of the application pack. Scores matter, but so do the photocopied payslips, the employer call note, and the manager’s handwritten exception. Dev Query Core was formed in Bangkok to give credit and audit teams an outside pair of eyes that stays at that file level.
We do not sell lending software. We read credit scoring applications, document what is missing, and help you decide what to repair before losses or inspectors force the issue.
Origin
The practice grew out of repeated secondments inside consumer finance and hire-purchase units along Asoke and Bang Na, where internal teams were stretched thin ahead of group audits. Clients asked for a repeatable sampling method and plain-language findings — work that sits beside, not instead of, statutory auditors and model validators.
How we work
- Policy first — your credit manual and product checklists set the standard; we do not invent a parallel rulebook.
- Sample with intent — strata by product, channel, limit, and override flag so findings speak to the portfolio, not anecdotes.
- Evidence over opinion — every exception cites the page, field, or missing attachment.
- Quiet rooms — when files cannot travel, we bring reviewers to your premises under your access rules.
People
Engagements are led by reviewers with lending operations and internal audit backgrounds in Thai consumer finance. Interpreters and bilingual memo writers join when branch files mix Thai and English notes. We introduce named leads during scoping; we do not parade anonymous “expert networks.”
Place
Our office is at Level 13, 48 Asoke Road, Watthana, Bangkok 10110 — close to the finance corridor many clients already visit. Field work travels to regional hubs when motorcycle, auto, or agricultural portfolios sit outside Bangkok.
Values in practice
Independence means we will not soften a finding to protect a relationship with a particular branch. Discretion means borrower data stays inside the access channel you provide. Clarity means the memo can be read by a credit committee without a glossary of borrowed jargon.
