What to bring to a visibility assessment kickoff

Kickoffs stall when the room has opinions but no extracts. Bring the following, even if imperfect.

1. Thirty days of lane-level timestamps for the corridors in scope
2. A sketch of who owns gate, putaway, and dispatch on each shift
3. One recent customer complaint that mentioned late arrival
4. Carrier contact who can explain EDI quirks without a sales pitch

If extracts cannot leave the building, say so early. We will schedule terminal time instead of pretending a clean export exists.

The goal of day one is not a finished map. It is agreement on which twelve handoffs matter enough to measure.
